Chad & Amy Hardin
Hope Counseling’s foundation is based on spiritual, emotional, and physical healing. With the belief that Healing Opens People’s Eyes is how to live the best life, Founders, Amy and Chad, followed God’s voice and their own hearts to start this agency, or as they believe, ministry. Growing up in church, they learned early on having a servant’s heart is not only necessary, but extremely rewarding.
Amy has served and volunteered for places including adult day care centers, toys for tots, New Beginnings, local churches, and has served on advisory boards for leading organizations in new directions. As a Pastor’s Kid, she learned how valuable having a trusted leader can be in life and has worked hard to continue this legacy.
Chad served in the United States Air Force from 1992-1996. He too has a heart for people and knew upon leaving the military he wanted to use his education and experience to empower others. This is when he began his career working with adolescents and continues this passion 25 years later. He has also served on local organization boards, volunteered with local churches, local outreach organizations, and has always been willing to go above and beyond.
Together Amy and Chad have served in ministry for over 10 years and believe everything they do daily is still ministry. They have built their businesses with the intent to give back to the community and to pay it forward to others. Seeing others learn to heal from hurts and succeed is one of their greatest desires.
Amy and Chad have lived in Owensboro their entire lives and currently live in West Daviess County. They have been married for 20 years and are blessed with three amazing children ages 19, 16, and 11. In their words, “We are so grateful for all God has blessed us with and cannot imagine a better life than the one we get to do together”.
